my first flight

It all started when I was 8 years old and ways told that we where going to Disney World. My mom took care of all f the packing and all I had to do was show up. I had no idea what it was going to he like and thought about it for months leading up. When the day finally came I was incredibly crabby. I do not react well when it comes to waking up early. After the 4 hour car ride to the airport I simmered down with the nap. We went through security after standing in line and talking to another family who where going to the grand cannon. I was getting hangry and wanted to go back to bed. When we made it through the first thing we did was go to a sit down breakfast restaurant. we all ate and went to the gate For the next hour all I did was watch planes take off and land. When I saw the p[lane come up to the tunnel thing all i could feel was butterfly's in my stomach. We boarded almost right away and found our seats. I wanted the window seat and when waiting for the rest of the people to board  I watched that window as if my life depended on it. I was getting really excited for the take off but was quickly getting anxious. The sounds were all new and I had no idea what they meant. The door closed and the flight attendants started the pre-flight safety announcements. Before i knew it the plane started moving to the run way and my plane to Orlando, Florida was next for take off. I wasn't expecting for the plane to go that fast before slowing going higher and higher and higher. It was so cool to me at the time but i got board of watching clouds quickly. My mom had brought mini DVD players and my brother and I had watched Alvin and the Chipmunks for the rest of the flight. Getting off the plane was another long process that my 8 year old self didn't want anything to do with. Then we had to get our checked bags and then go wait in another line for the bus to the most magical place on earth.
